Mexican restaurant franchise markets
Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, and Utah are open to qualified owner-operators.
Four states are open. One is coming.
Café Mexicali is franchising in Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, and Utah. South Dakota is coming once state registration is complete. As of December 31, 2025 (FDD Item 20), 2 franchised restaurants are open in Colorado and 4 are signed and not yet open (Arizona, Colorado, South Dakota, and Wyoming).
Announced, not open yet.
These are coming locations the company has announced.
- Denver, Colorado: 375 S Bannock St
- Cheyenne, Wyoming: 2300 Chestnut Dr Unit 100
- Goodyear, Arizona: 881 S Cotton Ln Suite H1, with 4 more Arizona locations coming
- Utah: no location announced, open for its first franchise
The four affiliate-owned restaurants in Fort Collins, Johnstown, Greeley, and Windsor, Colorado, are open today. Coming locations depend on construction and approvals.

South Dakota is coming.
South Dakota is coming once state registration is complete. Café Mexicali cannot offer franchises in a state where it is not yet registered or exempt, so no offer is made there until then. If you want South Dakota, apply and choose Other so Jim can keep you posted.
Territories work the same way everywhere.
In every market, your territory is defined by a stated radius around your approved location and is not exclusive (FDD Item 12). Each state page explains what that means for the market.
