This website and the information it contains are not an offer to sell a franchise. An offer can only be made through delivery of a Franchise Disclosure Document in compliance with applicable law. This website is for general information only and is not the solicitation of an offer to buy a franchise. Any offer or sale of a Café Mexicali franchise will be made only through delivery of a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) in compliance with the FTC Franchise Rule (16 CFR Part 436) and applicable state law.
State registration
Café Mexicali does not offer franchises in any state that requires registration unless it has complied with that state's registration and disclosure requirements or is exempt. The following states require registration of the franchise offering with a state regulator: California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
South Dakota: coming once state registration is complete. No offer is made to South Dakota residents or for South Dakota locations until then.
If and when required, state-specific disclosure language, including language required by the Minnesota Department of Commerce or the New York Department of Law, will accompany the FDD delivered to residents of those states.
Financial performance (Item 19)
2025 Total Income (gross sales) of the four affiliate-owned Colorado restaurants ranged from $2,086,614 to $3,338,782; gross profit (sales minus food cost only) $1,549,979 to $2,419,801. Some stores have sold this amount. There is no assurance you will sell as much. These figures come from Item 19 of the Franchise Disclosure Document. A new franchisee's individual results may differ. Substantiation is available to prospective franchisees on reasonable request during the qualification process.

Franchise count
As of December 31, 2025 (FDD Item 20), 2 franchised restaurants are open in Colorado and 4 are signed and not yet open (Arizona, Colorado, South Dakota, and Wyoming).
